Prepare a report that can be interpreted
Export campaign, ad-set and ad-level results for one defined period from an account you are authorised to use. Include spend, impressions, clicks, results, the result definition, reach and campaign objective where available. Keep the original export unchanged as your reference.
- Use one reporting period and document its timezone and currency.
- Retain campaign objective and result definitions beside the numbers.
- Remove names, contact details, customer lists and other unnecessary personal information.
- Record known tracking gaps and major campaign changes before asking for analysis.
Ask for data quality before conclusions
A campaign optimised for messages should not be judged solely by the outcome metrics of a reach campaign. Lower cost per message does not automatically imply higher sales.
- Ask Claude to inspect missing values, duplicated rows and inconsistent metric names.
- Request a list of metrics that are directly comparable and those that are not.
- Ask for three supported findings, each tied to exact supplied figures.
- Request two plausible hypotheses and the additional information needed to test them.
- Turn only supported findings into a small test plan with one main variable per test.
A practical comparison
Keep integrations and actions under control
- Verify whether any connector is official and approved for your environment.
- Review read and write permissions, data access and revocation before connecting anything.
- Never paste Meta access tokens, passwords or private customer data into a prompt.
- Do not publish unverified setup steps or let AI change campaign settings autonomously.
- Recalculate important figures from the original export and require human approval for changes.
